Tech Company Sideways 6 selects Jolly Good Causes for PR Support
JGC is a not-for-profit community interest company specialising in providing public relations support to charities, social enterprises, start-ups and SMEs. They operate as a partnership between Powys, Wales and London, and help commercial entities operate in a socially, environmentally and ethically conscious way. JGC’s profits are re-invested to subsidise support for small charities, enabling them to work for free wherever possible.
JGC will help Sideways 6 raise their profile in the innovation management space, following a recent successful funding round and subsequent search for new talent in a range of senior roles.
Unlike many of their competitors, Sideways 6 uses pre-existing systems such as Microsoft Yammer and Facebook Workplace as platforms for employee engagement. This approach makes it easier for frontline staff to get involved and results in up to ten times the engagement – and ten times the results - of their competitors.
Over the next 12 months JGC will go on to support the young start-up company, which was recently selected for the Startups 100 2017 index, as it seeks to increase its market share, with a number of FTSE 100 companies among their clients already.
“As an innovative and socially conscious company, we wanted an agency that shared similar attributes. JGC were a perfect fit and we are looking forward to a long a fruitful relationship,” said Will Read, founder and CEO of Sideways 6.
JGC Communications Manager, Jo Barr added: “We love working with start-up companies where budget management, value for money and return on investment are key, as they have much in common with so many of the charities we work for. We’re incredibly excited to be helping Will and his team build a strong brand and public profile.”
